LIA
BOSCH

Lia Bosch cultivates the full potential of an open “gaze,” indifferent to the supposed urgencies of current events and aware that there is no projection into the future without the propulsive force generated by a deep historical and symbolic analysis of one’s roots.

THE ARTIST.

Author identity acquired through a diploma at the Brera Academy implemented by the most multifaceted experiences completed in design, photography, dance, acting, fashion, with long training stays in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Paris. In the belief that the ways of Knowledge are everywhere, provided we undertake them and live them in the right way.

From all this sap comes the aptitude to explore the so-called Tradition by developing the spark of a creativity intolerant of labels, and at the same time fueled by the most diverse formal idioms. This is what gives artist Lia Bosch license to name “Athanatos” – Immortal – her most recent collection, presented at one of the events at the Fuori Salone in Milan.

Hers thus turns out to be a highly personalized maturation, and at the same time in full becoming, in the furrow of a creative path also characterized by attractive interweavings of fashion and design, as can be grasped from the precious graphic elaborations printed on silk in collaboration with Elio Fiorucci.
An important chapter in a career marked by periodic forays into the most varied fields of creation, such as the Neuma Bookcase presented by Riva1920 at the Salone del Mobile and participation in the group shows “Utopia del Sembiante,” at the Museo del Paesaggio in Torre del Mosto, and “Tabula rasa.” In the liquidity that philosopher Zygmunt Bauman writes about in regard to this world, which is as global as it is changing, Lia Bosch thus demonstrates that she is sailing firmly oriented along a “course” to follow.
